Charming sharp lofi direction that perfectly balances infectious jungle-pop hooks and angular guitar interplay. Nick Normal capture a raw, high energy urgency straight from the Pacific Northwest by @nick.normal

We have been heartbroken for a couple of months now since our Geraldine unexpectedly passed.

We will never truly understand why or how this could have happened to our sweet girl, but she was accidentally let out of the house by guests while we were at work. Unfortunately, she ended up getting hit by a car.

We miss seeing her through the window every time we left and returned home. She always greeted us with her love, wiggle butt and her “baby” lamchop in mouth. We miss her snuggles, little kisses and her pure joy. We loved being a part of her little life and seeing everything differently because of her.
She is our angel and we are completely gutted.

Gerry had a gentleness to her that enabled every animal (friendly or not) to be good with her. She possessed a piece of every dog we’ve ever loved growing up. We are so thankful for our friends who have been here for us and held space for us during this time.

We buried her under the sycamore in our back yard next to Cowboy. During the process, we had the radio playing through a boombox until its battery died at some point. After she was laid to rest, the two of us shared a moment at her grave and suddenly, the radio burst back to life and this song was playing on the station. It played only a verse and chorus before it died again.

We love you forever baby girl and the world will never be the same without you.

We love you

Howdy world ! We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be doing a west coast tour in August. It will be the North American debut of Dona Casque from Paris France. They are a delightful new wave punk pop duo that will surely scratch your yearning itch for good music.

As for Nick Normal, we’ll be performing mostly new/unreleased material from the ever-so-forthcoming LP as well as a couple classics.

We hope to see y’all in one of your beautiful cities, okay ?! by @nick.normal
