Season 2026 ❤️‍🔥

And just like that the 2026 season is officially over and with that also my first year training professionally.

First year with a structured training plan
First international adult competitions
First times under 6 seconds (almost forgot that already)
First time really dedicating my life to something this intentionally

Letting some time pass after Leipzig really helped putting everything better in perspective.

This season made me grow as an athlete, competitor and person in general. I got to experience my highest highs but also my lowest lows. Failure, pressure but also pure happiness and joy.
18 comps in total and I learned something in every one of them.
My progress wasn‘t always linear and countless times I was doubting myself. But in the end every single bad training, competiton or experience shaped me to become better and was worth it

I formed many new friendships and strengthened existing ones along the way. I love competing with every single one of you guys ❤️‍🔥⚡️

[Europe Youth Series & Europe Series]
Leipzig 🇩🇪

The last competitions of the season are over and honestly I don’t know what to think about them.

Europe Youth Series:
This was the more important competition and the one my focus was on. Coming here my expectations weren‘t that high as I was sick the week before and in general not really in my best physical shape anymore. Nevertheless there was one big goal that I wanted and needed to achieve, placing top 4. But unlike Imst, this time the field of competitiors was harder, therefore I only focussed on my runs and try to get the best out of them. I did a solid qualification, but unfortunately lost by just the smallest margin of 0.003 seconds in the round of 16.

Europe Series:
Leaving the last competitions with the adults for this year with a good feeling. I gave it my all, did yet another good runs and even stepped away with an nice little comp PB of 5.7

Looking back now at this comp, I‘m proud of myself. I finally climbed consistent under 6 seconds and found the so long searched necessary trust in myself to do that. The last weeks of training have been challenging again, I often found myself wondering if I can even ran as fast as I want in competiton when I‘m so far away from it in training. But I pushed the doubts away and kept deeply believing in myself. It sounds so simple and everyone tells you that but yet it’s so effective. Truly believe in yourself!
Although my result in this competition may not be the best, for me it was proof to myself that I’m on the right track and my limits are far from being reached.

[Europe Youth Series Imst 🇦🇹]
What can say about this comp… for now I‘m just in pain

This was THE chance

Place 7 again. Not bad but this is not what I came for 😔

I‘m still not where I want to be in terms of times. Eventhough I can run 5.5, running under 6 seconds is still not my baseline. Not in training nor in comp. And this hurts.
Losing because I can’t do what I can do.

The last weeks of training have been difficult. My specific preparation for Imst, was draining. Physically and even more mentally. I was exhausted. But it was worth it. I was able to adapt perfectly to the wall and didn’t splipped at all exept in my final run. I’m proud to remain trusting myself regardless of the weeks before. Therefore I can be happy with my performance in this competition.
I felt fast, recharged and ready this day but I somehow didn’t dare to go full speed.

And that‘s what I have to learn now, getting more comfortable and consistent in the 5‘s and making it my baseline.

I take this energy with me into the next weeks.
See you in Leipzig, I am coming for it… 😈🔥🇩🇪

New PB
Last selection comp of the the year was a blast. As I was already qualified for the last two Europe Youth Series I went into this comp pressure free and ready to push the limits. And thats what I did! More than happy with my training and progress the last few weeks not just in terms of my times, but more in what I learned, tried and adjusted.
Big thanks to my coach @iraclimb for guiding me on my path and being by my side 🙏🙏🫶
There is a 100% more to come and I can’t wait to go faster, but for now the focus is on getting consistent and cleaner for the next EYS

[Europe Series Zilina 🇸🇰]

Not my best performance, but not my worst one as well

Sliped in my first qualification run and did a more controlled second one which was clean but just slow and not enough…
Nevertheless I’ve been learning so much about myself this season and I‘m certain that all the experiences and lessons like these ones will make me grow as an athlete and competitor. I will keep working harder than ever to be faster as well as learning how my body and my mind are working and what they need ❤️‍🔥⚡️

[Europe Youth Series & Europe Series]
St Pölten, Austria 🇦🇹

EYS: First europe Youth Series of the season is over and I‘m pretty happy with my performance and mindset. I stayed cool during qualification and finals as well. Won in the round of 16 against @moritz_s08 and advanced into quarter finals where I unfortunately faced @gillesmeili . It was kind of a close race and I noticed that around the middle of the run so I sped up but I lost control and slipped. The fact that he slipped a few holds later as well made me regret speeding up even more. But he won and thats the game. I should have focused on myself.
Congrats to Gilles tho for having nerves of steel and winning the comp 👏
In the end I finished in place 7 which is a good result BUT I WANT MORE

ES: My second Europe Series with the adults. Barcelona really hit me and therefore I‘m really happy I didn‘t let the environment throw me off balance this time. Finished in Place 18 just missing out on finals two places, sooooooo annoying 😪🙄
Did two clean qualification runs but they weren‘t that fast. I know I definetely could‘ve advanced on this day, so this is just… annoying. But at the same time I‘m proud of myself. This is a great step into the right direction and my placement motivates me even more for Zilina next week.

Overall It was a good weekend and I‘m proud of myself for addapting to the bad wall. My Times weren‘t really fast but after the comp I realised ones again I CAN GO MUCH FASTER. It’s FINALLY time to get rid of safety and controll ones and for all until I am faster again ⚡️

So now a bit of rest and then its full on go again next week at the Europe Series in Žilina 🇸🇰🔥

[German Adult Championship 2026]
What a comp! Vize German Champion Relay🥈

German Championship took place as Part of @die_finals ones again, this time also including mixed relay in addition to the normal competition

Started off the event with mixed relay together with @l.a.u.r.a.14.7 This was the first time competing in this new format for almost everybody us included.

I went into this comp with exitement and fun. After Barcelona I struggeled to gain back my confidence therefore I‘m glad I was able to refresh my mind pretty good. Relay was just pure fun and I was enjoying every single moment of it. Especially competing in front of this enormous crowd again!! Just like last year.
For me every round was filled with joy and I was able to put down some nice runs about 5.9 5.8 and 5.7

Didn‘t expect this result at all, as my focus was completely on the normal competiton the next day. Somehow this result eased my hunger for the normal comp, as I already achieved something. I tried to fight this feeling as hard as I could but I didn‘t quite succeded. Nevertheless I feld prepared and ready the second day, but after the practise runs all of a sudden a bit of nervousness kicked in. Messed up both qualification runs, and with that knocked myself out of the finals. Thats speedclimbing…

Another lesson learned ☝️✅

No need and time to overthink it tho, next one is already around the corner

[Europe Series Barcelona 🇪🇸]
First adult competition on the international stage

❌❌

This one didn’t go as planned at all 😔
Slipped on both my qualification runs..

A few things didn‘t aline this time
My usual mindset was off and I was lacking some necessary confidence. On top of that was the heat.

But those are the kind of challenges everyone has to face, therefore no excuses just pure learnings.

Competing against the best adults from europe was a completely new and humbeling experience, but I‘m very greatfull for this opportunity

Hurts to know I‘m the worst in this room for now, but still proud to even be there ☝️
I‘ll keep working harder than ever to change that and catch up to this niveau. This is what I want, and this is what I‘ll do

Still hungry, still growing, still learning…. ⚔️

On to the next one

Missed my goal, hit a completely different one instead

I came here for one thing, to qualify for youth world championships, that was the plan all along. The weeks leading up to this comp where the best I‘ve ever had and I was physically ready and mentally even more. Therefore I‘m a bit dissapointed I didn‘t managed to get the 5.6 I needed.

Nevertheless I‘m more than happy with how this comp turned out. The wall wasn’t the best and I had to adapt but I did what I can do best, doing consistent runs. I fought my way through the rounds until I ended up in the big final

This comp gave me more confidence in my abilities and I‘m very proud of my performance and how I managed to ignore my doubts and trust myself

I never thought this result would be possible in the u21 category, at least not this year

[European Youth Championship]
Zakopane, Poland 🇵🇱⚔️⛰️

Very good start into the international season, with new PB of 5.80 seconds and an 11th place in my first year in the u19 category

Probabely one of the toughest and longest competitions ever, with hours of delayed starting times, long breaks, constant on and off rain, many technical problems and a total duration of 10 hours. Therefore I’m even happier with my mindset and how I managed to stay focused till the very end.

Unfortunately I lost in the round of 16 against @muetze_climbing but mental and physical shape are better than ever ⚡️⚔️

P8 in qualification —> P11 in the end

second german youth cup in 2 weeks, more than hyped to compete again and hungry for some even faster times

Also huuuuge congrats to my bro @slo_m0_climbing for taking the title home in the u17 category, absolute cinema and more than deserved⚡️😤🤫

[German Youth Cup]
Augsburg 📉📈

Finally,
thats the first word that comes to my mind

The first german youth cup is over, and what a crazy one it has been again 😶

Just one day before the comp I injured my lower back ones again. I had given up all hope I had for this competition, and wasn‘t even sure if I could compete.
My expectations were super low but therefore I could compete almost pressure free. I found my flow instantely and suddenly I was having pure fun. I got faster with every run and then I did it, after 3 nomination comps I finally managed to achieve my goal, the nomination time for the european youth championship. Really happy with my 6th place in the u21 class
