This is the greatest punk show of all time

47 Years ago to this date at 8pm The Clash took the stage with The Cramps, Dead Kennedys, and The Rebels.

It was the second leg of their “Take the Fifth” tour and took place in San Francisco at The Kezar Pavilion.

Many attendees remember it as being incredibly loud, wild, and electric. The show received rave reviews and went down in punk history.

This is a vintage Lou Reed Transformer sweater seen in the 1995 film Hackers on Matthew Lilliard but its history goes even further back.

It was made in the 1970s by an Australian Knitter named Mary Adams who was selling sweaters in her market stall in Sydney.

She just so happened to sell it to someone doing press for Lou’s tour. The woman wore it there and naturally Lou asked where it was from. He wasnt mad and instead ordered some. His band even wore them on the second night of the show. taken in Los Angeles, California by @nick_rossi_

I let @adoyleee into my house to photograph myself and some things before she moved to New York.

This is my Nudie Cohn sweater that was rumored to have belonged to the one and only Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones. Some sources say there was only five made and all for rockstars such as Keith. Others such as Gram Parson’s wore a similar sweater… as did Dolly Parton. by @nick_rossi_

This one’s for my Leather Queens out there

A brief history on this 1980s studded belt from the STUD—one of Los Angeles’ major leather and Levi’s bars on Melrose( current day “The Melrose House” ). The bar was active from 1974-1988.

Everyone looks sexy in leather ;)

Vintage 1978 Rolling Stones crew shorts

Keith wore them on vacation with Anita in 1979 so they’re all I’ll wear this summer.

A couple years ago they went in an auction house for over $1000 and in a worse color in my opinion 🤷🏻 by @nick_rossi_
