Short one take cover of Scarlet by @periphery — mistakes and all. Working on tightening this up for a full cover at some point! by @nick_steinkamp

Quick one take cover of “Thanks Nobuo” by @periphery.

Been on a P5 kick recently and cannot stop listening to this track. The way Mark’s whimsical riffage works in tandem with Spencer’s “false-self” defying lyrical narrative creates a sonic landscape that really makes me feel a certain way. Love this song, love this album, love this band. by @nick_steinkamp

Not my best playing, but in the spirit of doing creative things more I thought it’d be fun to get my camera out and film something by @nick_steinkamp

One more circle around the sun completed. As I head into this new year, I reflect on the past 365 days with a new outlook on life and a redeemed heart. 2025 delivered a much needed paradigm shift in every aspect of life. After years of trying to find my place and falling flat on my face time after time, I let go of the adversary that bound me to fear, sadness, and social complacency. Like a seed in rocky ground, there was an illusion of life, but I was always scorched by the sun. I learned to embrace the love that has always surrounded me and accepted that I don’t have the answers and I’m not in control. It doesn’t get easier, but it does get better.

These moments above serve as a reminder of all that I’ve received. Family, friends, and most importantly faith. From the summit of Khatadin in Maine to seeing my favorite bands live, to close friends providing harsh reality checks, this year offered the highest-highs and the lowest-lows and I couldn’t be more grateful. Many doors were closed for good, but so many more were opened. Here’s to doors in 2026 🚪 by @nick_steinkamp

“Ah- Aurora Borealis!? At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your kitchen!?”

Drove out to the country to see the northern lights last night. Here is my attempt at photographing them. by @nick_steinkamp

2023 was an interesting year. I moved out of my childhood home, went on tour with @manoftheflood, got a new job, saw some of my favorite bands live, and visited one of my oldest friends 2,000 miles away. It was simultaneously one of the best and worst years of my life and I am so grateful for friends and family that got me through it. ❤️
