Tonight I took my final bow as Jean Valjean. A role that as of tonight I have now performed 1,800 times. I don’t know if I will have the opportunity to inhabit this character again, but I can tell you this role has completely changed my life. It has made me a better actor. It has made me a better singer and through it all I feel like I’ve also grown as a human being. Obviously a ton of emotions to see this chapter close and turn the page, but I am excited for what’s next, and all I can say is thank you to everyone who supported me along the way.

This pic was taken backstage right before I ran on at curtain call. I always stand in the same position, listening to the applause for my fellow company members and continuing to think about how lucky I am to tell this story. Tonight, as we closed @lesmizus I thought about how I’m so proud of this entire company for their work and dedication, and you can be sure I let it all soak in one more time.
