3 years ago today, we lost one of the most timeless vocalists across multiple generations and one of my personal favorites, the great Tony Bennett. I recorded this back in March from Florida, as I had always wanted to sing this one down in my own way, but was afraid of how it may be received. I feel so comfortable showing it to you now. Back in fall of 2024, this dude and I struck up a conversation in a FedEx. I had no idea that convo would turn into an incredible friendship and creative partnership I thank the universe for daily. Super excited to say that I had chance to have a song featured on the hit anime Tamon’s B-Side, called “Tell Me More”. Finally got to turn my K-Pop idol vibes on ⚡️😮‍💨I feel having the opportunity to work on various anime projects had always made the inner child in me proud, and to be a part of a song in the lane of my own music was an even cooler experience. I’ve always been the type of person who believes that every day is Mother’s Day, and every morning I wake up and I’m grateful for the bond that I have with my own mother. During last Christmas as a present to her, I wrote her a song, and for this Mother’s Day, I thought I’d demo it out for you all to hear. I call this song “Clara Bell”, after a nickname I’ve heard her called my entire life by the people that love her, and I’d love to hear from you if I should include this special song fully produced on a project in the future.
