🚨 24 YEARS WITHOUT A TV CASTING… THEN THIS HAPPENED! 🤯

Meet First TV Role Fast-Track alumni @nickduttonactor. 🎬

Nick graduated in 1999.

He was working in theatre and corporate jobs…

But despite YEARS of acting professionally, he just couldn’t crack TV.

In fact, when Nick joined First TV Role Fast-Track, he hadn’t had a TV casting in 24 YEARS.

Then he decided to change what he was doing.

He joined Fast-Track, got laser-focused on his casting type, learned how to approach casting directors strategically and started putting the work in.

Since then?

🔥 G’Wed
🔥 ITV’s The Bay
🔥 Coronation Street
🔥 Netflix’s The Witness
🔥 AND a new agent!

Nick says he’s now tripled or quadrupled his investment in the programme. 🤯

And I LOVE what he says at the end of this video:

“If you’re prepared to put 100% work in and follow the blueprint, you can’t go wrong with this.”

THIS is why we created First TV Role Fast-Track.

Not to promise actors some magical overnight shortcut…

But to give you a clear strategy for understanding where you fit, who you should be targeting and how to start creating more TV opportunities for yourself.

And right now, almost 70 actors have already joined us for Fast-Track+AI 2026! 🚀

DOORS CLOSE THIS FRIDAY AT MIDNIGHT. ⏰

After that, Fast-Track closes for another FULL YEAR.

So if you’re ready to stop waiting and start doing something differently…

👉 Hit the LINK IN OUR BIO to read everything about First TV Role Fast-Track+AI 2026.

Maybe this time next year, I’ll be sharing YOUR story. ❤️🎬

WELL DONE NICK - you’re a legend!

TO WHOMEVER NEEDS TO READ THIS: your casting call post with AI imagery and epic music makes us all flaccid. Most of us think it's fake and don't want to be a part of it. Please and thank you! 😘 taken in Worldwide by @nickduttonactor

Welcome to Film Thursdays!

The Penis Conundrum (our short film) is in the can.

We’ve already started the post production process, and in the meantime, we’d love to share a bit about our crew and process so far.

Today, it’s about actors. Our three characters are played by:

Sanna Toivanen (Laura) - Sanna Toivanen is a Finnish actress, director, and physical theatre specialist based in Spain with extensive European stage and screen experience. Her career includes working with renowned international directors like La Fura dels Baus and Romeo Castellucci, alongside a prominent role in the award-winning Finnish TV series Helppo Elämä. Passionate about collaborative storytelling, she especially loves participating in female-driven and fun projects.

Gian Bonacchi (The Penis Guy) - Gianmaria Bonacchi is an international Italian actor, producer, and acting coach with credits including Netflix’s Il Mostro and Amazon’s Secret Society 3. Holding degrees from NYFA Miami and Blanquerna University, he is fluent in four languages and serves as founder of Cinematic Stunts & Acting. He recently hosted a charity screening in Barcelona with Homeless Entrepreneur for his upcoming film Garbage Rex, fresh from pitching it at the Berlin EFM

Nick Dutton (Chris) -Originally from Liverpool and trained at GSA, Nick is a bilingual actor and musician with nearly 25 years of professional experience. His screen credits include ITV’s G’Wed and The Bay, Warner Bros.’ Mrs. Davis, and international films like Paradise Hills. A skilled baritone, flautist, and saxophonist, Nick has performed across the UK and Spain.

Look, Mum, I got onto @netflix 🫸🏽🫷🏽
I made the edit! 🎬✂️

Which Brit of my age (or older) doesn't remember this horrifying story? I always knew Rachel's name (and Colin's) but I don't remember that of André and Alex. Maybe that's how they'd like it to remain.

I did feel a bit odd having to be a vile tabloid journo in front of the real life A+A on set. They were super sweet though.

Thanks to everyone involved at @netflixuk and @wearestv ... especially to @alexwinckler @caramaka and @m.axxf

Big up to @luci_lenox @mikecaterobvs @franksteincasting @catherinewilliscasting for
putting me under the right noses.

Costume: @mekelbailey

So pleased with my BlackBerry

What's on the other side of the door?

Oh, just MUAH touch ups

Horribly actory trailer life snap

Late 90s wardrobe goalz

...because are you an actor if you don't do one of these selfies?

I never had one IRL

What a show! Have you seen it yet? 🤔 taken in Netflix by @nickduttonactor

Exactly 3 months after having my head opened, I was hosting a red carpet event online for @theactorshome - it's a modern day miracle!

I thought my "Zoom shirt" would be hilarious...it went down like a cup of cold sick. I was like a Temu strippergram. Oh well it was an honour to be asked and I'll do better next time.

Huge thanks to @theactorshome @luci_lenox @verdeperto and huge congrats to all the winners, judges, runners and riders!
