At just 12 years old, Nick already knew he wanted to work for himself. Watching his dad install gym equipment showed him what it looked like to build something of your own. That dream became the foundation for creating his own schedule, his own opportunities, and ultimately his own business.

Success doesn’t happen overnight. It starts with a vision, grows through hard work, and is built one decision at a time.

A great reminder from Nick Hoffer (@nickelashoffer ): the hardest part of creating content isn’t filming—it’s hitting post.

Everyone worries about what people will think. The truth is, confidence comes from doing, not waiting. I learned that by going live more than 300 times and helping over 100 people start livestreaming. Every episode made me a little better, and every mistake became another lesson.

If you’ve been waiting for the “perfect” time to share your story, your business, or your ideas, this is your sign to start. Someone out there needs to hear what only you can say.

🎙️ Want to share your entrepreneurial journey, business, or life lessons? We’d love to have you as a guest on Shaping Success: Treasure Valley. Send us a DM to learn more.

Success isn’t polished—it’s built through the messy parts.

The real lessons come from the deals that fall apart, the mistakes you make, the conversations that get uncomfortable, and the moments when telling the truth isn’t the easiest option. That’s the kind of journey we believe is worth sharing.

Authenticity matters because someone else might need to hear the lesson you’re learning right now.

Do you prefer the polished highlight reel or the raw, behind-the-scenes truth? Let us know in the comments.

The best customer service training doesn’t always happen in a classroom—it happens when you’re in the middle of a packed restaurant, juggling tables, learning the menu inside and out, solving problems on the fly, and making sure every customer leaves happier than when they walked in.

Those skills don’t stay in the restaurant. They follow you into sales, leadership, entrepreneurship, and life.

A huge thank you to @hoftac_industries for sharing another reminder that the skills we build in one chapter often become the foundation for the next.

Sometimes the subject you struggled with the most becomes the skill you rely on every single day.

Real-world experience has a way of making lessons finally click. Imagine how different school might have been if we spent more time learning why things matter instead of just memorizing them.

Great perspective from @hofftac_industries. What’s one skill you never thought you’d use that has become essential in your career or everyday life? Share it in the comments!

I asked ChatGpt what would it look like if I built an outdoor theater area for Brenda Davis and the kids in our back yard something that would be usable when we house friends and family. Show me a mockup using this picture of my back yard.
