Hey there, I’m Nickey! 🤍

I’m so excited to introduce myself and share a little bit about my journey with my new followers recently.

For the past 6 years, I’ve been working as an Eyelash Technician, and over time, I’ve expanded my skills to include lash lifts, tints, brows, and body waxing. My journey into the beauty world started after realizing my love for it far outweighed my career in childcare. I knew deep down that I wanted to build something of my own and make my mark in this amazing industry!

I started my beauty career at a salon on Canvey Island, but just as I was settling in, COVID-19 hit. That meant a few months back in childcare while also caring for my nan, who was battling stage 4 lung cancer.

Once the lockdown lifted, I took a leap of faith and launched my own beauty business from a spare room at home. And honestly, I haven’t looked back since!

✨ A few fun facts about me:
• I’m originally from the Netherlands (yes, I speak Dutch!) and moved to the UK in 2009 🇳🇱
• In my downtime, you’ll probably find me reading, playing board games, or working on a puzzle
• When I’m not doing beauty treatments, I love hitting the gym to stay active! 💪

My story is all about passion, resilience, and the drive to create something beautiful in every part of my life. I’m so excited to work with you and give you the best beauty experience possible. You’re in fantastic hands with me! Can’t wait to meet you. ✨

The day I messages Nicola to let her know she’d been chosen for this months Free treatment I found out she was having a really hard day.

When we got chatting the next day during her treatment she told me “you was like my angel on my darkest day yesterday” and she left the salon smiling & feeling good about herself! Just in time for her to start her new job next week.

And this is what I do it for… it’s not “just lashes” … that hour with me really does make a difference to their mood as well as their physical appearance. And I love seeing you girl leaving my room smiling 🫶🏼
