PACK IT UP /

For the tired eyes:

Tragedy is a loud word don’t you think?
Too big, too heavy
Overdramatic over my own emotional overrun

But what if I tell you
A matchstick is no match
against a snowflake rolling on a hill
with at least a million more
What if I tell you
I let something delicate turn into
something self-destructive

But I won’t
The leaves aren’t even falling yet
And even if it snowed in September
This is nothing but a tired snowball fight,
not an avalanche
