My Brotha Vince:

Today you turn 34 and it has been 5 birthdays since our last time together. I was reading some of our texts and I was just thinking “damn” I didn’t realize how goated you were. I think that you are one of the great reasons why I realized my worth.

You always told me “I am way more funny than you will ever be”, and you still are but I think it’s rubbing off a bit I’m a bit weird but in a good way.

Yes, I graduated and we took a fam picture and we have a bear that has your name and sweater on it because we gotta have my bro in the pic!!!

Im in college too bro and I have great people surrounding and supporting me. I know you had an awesome and crazy college experience and this is only my first year so I’m building my lore too hahaha.

I realize that the memory of you is so important. I think that this is the way to grieve. To carry out your legacy and your sunshine that you bring, to show everyone your smile haha. I am proud when I tell people that I have a brother, and I want people to remember the big bro Kuya Vince I know.

This was crazy - to say the least - in a great way. Thank you Olympian for giving this gift of memory and an epic experience.

I’m so grateful for the people here at this school - the court, giving me another family; ASB always putting in effort; Mr. Hart being a part of my campaign and being a G; Maya, always wanting the best for me; my family, for giving me all the love I need; and my friends and fellow eagles for believing in me.
