bjørn. - a preface collection
(master’s collection @esmodparis)

a take on norwegian-scandinavian design through fashion. 12 looks consisting of 15 “bjørn.” garments and 5 “bjørn.” accessories. all “bjørn.” garments and accessories were made from scratch in paris, france. (information of pieces used for styling are provided below).

all garments and accessories were patterned, cut, and sewn all by norwegian-american designer @nickshack. idea was conceptualized in oslo, norway and solidified in paris.

all materials were sourced responsibly and locally in paris, oslo, stavanger, and the san francisco bay area. several garments were created with dead-stock and/or lightly used home textiles such as bed sheets, table runners, table cloths, and tea towels.

*garments and accessories used for styling: Tusah x @cj.nickolas taekwondo shoes designed by @nickshack with/for 2024 Paris Olympian CJ Nickolas, 2 pairs of jeans, additional footwear, and “Gutta på Haugen” tote bag.*

I love living in 2025 cuz you can eat Popeyes in front of Sacre Cœur while ur at Montmartre since u messed up and needed more fabric. And version 2 ! Fading and distressing and is reversible. Stretched/top-stitched collar for 3d ruffle effect ! And made some scarves x taken in Paris, France by @nickshack
