where do i start with West Side Story…
from the get-go, i was determined to be the best possible, Riff, imaginable. with my own interpretation and others feedback, i can say i truly played the character as passionately and as charismatically as i could have ever imagined. Every person in this production allowed me to reach my fullest potential as an actor/performer. Thank you for coming out and showing your support…

never thought competition would ever end but glad we went out with the best performance possible. this group works so hard y’all have no idea. i am so lucky and honored to have played a crazy fish dude named Perry for The Old Man and The Old Moon. thank you to everyone who motivated me and pushed me to be the best i possibly could. keep working and doing what you love. -Pericles Llewelyn McWallander @oakgrovehighschooltheatre @pigpentheatreco #goshow #theatre taken in Oak Grove High School (Hattiesburg, Mississippi) by @nicksingleterry

well, i can’t believe this is the end for me and my showchoir career i guess you could say. first i’d like to thank my lord and savior jesus for taking me in when problems would build up and over my head. i’d also like to thank my director ms.bolling for wrapping me in love and hope. she considered me a leader which is something i’ve always wanted to be. i’m glad to be part of a group that is loving and i wouldn’t trade any of these moments for anything. from starting as a shy freshman to a annoying, goofy, outgoing senior. all i wanted to be was a person others would look up to. i can say i did just that. i love every single person i’ve met along my high school showchoir career. thank you centerstage for being apart of my life.
@carlie10223 @cade.humphrey y’all are some of the most loving and hardworking people i’ve met. glad to share this journey with you guys starting all the way back in middle school spotlight.
last thing i want to say is. if you love what you do and do what you love, that’s all you need. love eachother. don’t let little forks in the road make you lose track of who you have. <3 taken in Oak Grove High School (Hattiesburg, Mississippi) by @nicksingleterry

Mississippi Does Great Theatre 🎭
The amount of hard work and dedication this group puts in everyday is insane. I would never trade my experience with Oak Grove High School Theatre for anything. I love every person i have met in this department and i can’t wait to see where it takes all of us.
