That moment on "Note to Self" hits different when you look at where things stand today. Fifteen years ago, a generation of artists was looking up at the legends, studying the game, and daring to believe they could step into those shoes.

Fast forward through the classic records, the historic runs, and the shift in the culture, and the thesis Cole laid down back in 2014 remains undisputed: true mastery isn't about hoarding the crown, it’s about showing that there is space for greatness and real unity at the top.

Bringing that energy back home to Fayetteville for a night at the Crown Coliseum completes the full-circle moment.
It’s a celebration of the journey from dreamers to leaders, a tribute to the hometown that built the foundation, and a reminder of the power in bringing everyone together.

Here's to the dreamers 🙌 by @nicksucio

In November 1998, 25-year-old Corey Parker was found stabbed to death inside her Jacksonville Beach apartment, sparking an intense investigation that quickly went cold due to a lack of immediate physical evidence.
Nearly two years later, detectives focused their attention on 17-year-old neighbor Robert Erik Denney, whose suspicious behavior made him a prime suspect.

Aware that police were watching him, Denney went to extreme lengths to avoid giving up his DNA—refusing offered water bottles, keeping his cigarette butts, and declining to lick envelopes. Investigators eventually tracked him to Maryland, where undercover officers retrieved a DNA sample after watching him spit on the ground outside his job.
The saliva matched blood and hair found at the crime scene, leading to Denney's arrest and his 2005 conviction for first-degree murder, for which he was sentenced to life in prison.

Photography is all about those fleeting moments right before the shutter clicks. It’s that split second where anticipation meets reality, catching a sliver of magic just before time slips away. ✨️

Had an incredible time celebrating World Photography Day yesterday with an amazingly creative community right here in Durham!

Huge special thanks to @stephanocreates for hosting such a great photowalk, and to @adobe / @lightroom and @yoursdurham for bringing us all together.
