Abandoned cable lift on Mont Blanc.

I haven’t been on many mountain hikes, but this was really cool for me. There’s something so rewarding about reaching the “top” in my case, it was this abandoned cable car lift building.

For two weeks, I’d been looking at it from the house I was staying at, saying, “Damn, I really want to climb up there.”

Then I got sick as fuck for basically the entire trip, and on my very last day there, I said, “Fuck it, I’m climbing this mountain,” even though I was still sick.

The real challenge was beating the sunset, so I was really pushing myself up the mountain to make sure I had enough time to explore before it got dark.

I’m actually really proud of myself for doing it, despite being sick and having to rush. I got to see some of the best views I’ve seen in a long time, animals, a glacier, and this cool abandoned cabel lift car.

Definitely one of the highlights of my time in Chamonix.

After what felt like an endless night searching for the famous “60 Feet Below,” Bobby and I split off from the group to check out a building I’d had my eye on for a while. In the darkest hours of the night, we slipped our way through a mostly under-renovation skyscraper. We came across some worker clothing and figured… why not? Might as well dress the part. After a close call with an elevator operator, we found ourselves at the roof door, directly beneath a camera. (Maybe the outfits weren’t such a bad idea after all) bobby was a true friend and gladly struck a few poses while I took some photos. On the way back down, we noticed a cooler full of beer on someone’s yacht… sooooo we each borrowed a couple and sat by the river to end the night. I’d say that was a pretty good ending to an exhausting night. by @nickventures03

Chicago Christmas tree light festival

Imagine climbing one of the oldest spires in Chicago while controlling a drone with one hand in the cold and waiting for 20 minutes for the lights and fireworks to start. Well that was me for 20 minutes 👍
