Meet the second of two new dancers joining us this season: Nicholas D’Angelo! 🖤✨ We’re excited to welcome him to the Koresh family. Show some love in the comments!

——

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Nick has been dancing since the age of seven and has dedicated his life to the art form. He trained at a performing arts high school before continuing his education at Point Park University, where he had the opportunity to work with renowned artists including Norbert De La Cruz III, Christopher Huggins, and Bridget Moore. In addition to his performance career, Nick is a passionate dance educator who teaches classes and travels across the United States leading workshops, where he enjoys inspiring and connecting with the next generation of artists. by @nickxutopia

The merging of my manifestations. You are allowed to do things that don’t make sense to others if they feel right for you. Eventually they will all understand. by @nickxutopia

🌀 We are creators of our reality. by @nickxutopia

I think I can be misunderstood that I’m a gloomy person but I actually feel like a moth in a dark world who seeks out and finds the flame while acknowledging the dark. I feel like my energy body looks like a starry dark night sky 🌌 with a purpose of alchemizing the darkness to integrate it with the light ✨. Or maybe I’m just a little nutty lol. In that case I don’t care to put my “crazy” side out there because I desire to be seen as my most authentic self and if that bothers you we aren’t meant to connect and that’s okay. Also to anyone thinking “stick to dance this makes no sense” this is actually fully what my dance practice is rooted in. My movement launguage is very tied into my philosophies of life and they cannot exist without each other. by @nickxutopia

So grateful to perform Sketches of flames by Bridget Moore @b.moore.dance with this amazing cast ❤️🖤
