12 months and one day ago, I was getting my leg out of a full-length cast after breaking my tibia. Yesterday, I ran a full marathon.

Pretty wild turnaround considering this time last year I was just happy to walk without looking like a newborn giraffe. Fast forward a year and somehow I’ve clocked 42.2km - still can’t quite believe it.

Massive shoutout to the @rtb_runclub for all the sessions, Sunday long runs and questionable mid-run banter - especially the @fratetraincoaching , for every early start, tempo grind and “just one more rep” that no one asked for but everyone needed!

To Phoebe - thanks for training beside me, putting up with all my shit talk, and pushing through your ITB pain on the day. Watching you fight through that was tougher than the marathon itself.

To Tiff - huge thanks for keeping the body in one piece. All the massages and recovery work definitely got me to the start line (and probably kept me out of another cast).

And Joel, thanks for jumping in with us on the day and adding to the chaos - wouldn’t have been the same without it (or your mid run tempo session).

To everyone else who’s supported, checked in, or just listened to me talk about running way too much - I really do appreciate it.

From a full leg cast to a marathon finish line in 12 months - not bad for a bloke who could barely walk last year!

$Epic Ski Trip in New Zealand with @kingcraftbuilders Just wrapped up an unforgettable week hitting the slopes at @trebleconenz and @cardronanz! 🏔️ From breathtaking views to thrilling descents, every moment was pure magic. The highlight? An exhilarating @alpineheliski adventure that took our experience to new heights! Unfortunately, the week ended with a bit of a twist – a fractured tibia. But hey, every great story has its bumps along the way!
