🎉 Joy overload! Our boy, Leo has graduated Elementary School! I am so proud of this sweet, smart & funny guy who brought it for 5th grade! He worked so hard and accomplished so much! From city-wide basketball championship, to stepping outside his comfort zone in public speaking and upping his grades and study habits, I couldn’t love him more.

This community has been the ultimate source of celebration & support and the heartbeat of our family for 9 years and now we say goodbye. I’m gutted this very special time is complete and so very grateful for every moment. What a time was had. ❤️💃🏼 by @nicnashla

She is me, Spring 2020. I’d never seen this picture before and it made me laugh, the insanity of life at this moment. Working in my backyard. Hiding from my kids. Everything was hard. Endless obstacles. The world was terrifying. (Even poor Rizzo was in a cone for some mysterious skin infection!)

BUT ALSO, this crazy time is when I discovered my love of reading. ❤️ It came later than most-I’d never really read much before then. But now, it’s one of the greatest contributors of joy, happiness,
peace and connection.

Reading- escaping into someone else’s world, being pushed to new levels of empathy through others experiences & heartbreak. For me, obsessively checking my library queue to see how much longer for a certain book! & probably the best part-seeing my kids devour books with delight!

Glad to be reminded, we never know what gifts will come out of hard times! 📚

I thought I read 29 books this year…
but when I made the list, it turns out it was actually 31. 📚

Most of them were checked out from my library because yes — I am firmly, proudly, a library girlie. Borrowed, loved, returned — repeat.

Reading became my calm, my reset, my little corner of peace in the chaos.

Raw, lyrical, and unforgettable.

Brilliant, empathetic and so human.

A soul-deep reflection — I’m still thinking about it.

So for 2026… I’m going big:
