Four years of the butterfly effect 🦋

There are so many decision points I reflect on that lead me where I am now, and I never could’ve predicted any of this trajectory 4 years ago. Changing majors, embracing creative work, traveling for tournaments and conferences — and above all, the wonderful people I share life with. Here’s to the next chapters, whatever they may entail!

Also, shoutout to @djdavies_photography for these great shots 📸 taken in University of Maryland by @nicodrummond_

I am excited to share a second place title for the 2026 Edmund Bacon Urban Design Awards!

Entering an international competition, let alone receiving an award was not something I had on my mind last fall. The Wellness Network proposes community development within a framework of green infrastructure, pushing the idea of what an urban landscape offers its residents.

Working with Gabe, Mia, and Andreas through design development and many reviews pushed our abilities as designers and fueled growth in group dynamics and visual communication.

Thank you to @designphilly and the Edmund Bacon Urban Design Awards, Mary and Dr. Kweon, and my group mates — here’s to a job well done! by @nicodrummond_
