Super scintillant / Nicolas Bernier, Mélanie Bourassa: Tarot (CD/NUM)

Friends! 🦉

I haven't released new music in a while. The following is an impromptu collection somewhere between neoclassical piano and dark ambiant, crafted from the improvised artifacts of a blessed jam session. It's an intriguing maze of sound with sparks of beauty at every corner.

Piano système is the meeting of two distinct worlds: that of the neoclassical pianist and composer Nathan Giroux and the electronic composer Nicolas Bernier. Real-time piano sampling and synthesized soundscapes carefully sculpted from sonic mattter support the harmonic and melodic power of the piano in a musical haze where time is fluid and uncertain, making the music captivating and alive.

You can check out Système 2 as of today and preorder the album through the link in bio.

Needless to say, this is a very especial release for me and I’m very excited to be able to finally share it.

I couldn’t be more grateful to @nicolasbernier , @loscil , @xmatmosx , @studiozimoun , and @albatrianastudio for their incredible contributions to this album, and to Lawrence English @room40shoots for all the love and support he’s given me in realising this project.
