No additives. No permission. Just Berlin wine and lots of fun. @0800naturescalling

Nicolas Wenz @nicolaswenz didn’t have a vineyard, a winemaking degree, or much money. He grew up in a 300-year family hotel in the Pfalz, had a mentor who gave him courage, two co-founders he met by accident, and an obsession with making exceptional products. That was enough.

But this didn’t start with wine. It started with a lemonade nobody liked, a spirit made from a Brazilian flower distilled in the family bowling alley, and a pandemic workshop over a bottle of natural wine. Nicolas has always been obsessed with making things. Failing, pivoting, trying again. Wine was just the one that stuck.

Today @0800naturescalling: 30,000 bottles a year. Arc’teryx. New Balance. An MMA fight in a barrel room. And it all started with 12 bottles for Peggy Gou.

HELLO 2026 but..
It’s never too late for a little throwback? 2025 was such a intense year for us, time to share some memories:

2 - we finally opened our berlin winery doors for you 🥳

3&4 - we hostet many workshops & tastings with @arcteryxdach on non alcoholic fermentation & with @bam_wrks

5 - we had a surprise May Day Party & had a blast with @uferradio 🍾

6 - we bottled our first vintage pressed in berlin & corked almost 7000 bottles by hand, thanks to the best team

7 - we built a lot from scratch with the best neighbours @monopolberlin @joseealarcon @ryoji_homma

8 - we threw the bar for @dixon_ & partied all night 🙌

9 - we designed our beautiful new labels with @yung_huhn

10 & 11 - we learned a lot & we made some amazing new wines with @weingut_bergdoll

12 - we had so many great shows with the light installation by @encor_studio x @monopolberlin & Ballett by @dancae_

13 - we had so many great saturdays with the most amazing partners, musicians, chefs & DJs @sakana.berlin @igor_cooks @oysterhour.world @table_farrah @club.baguette.berlin @gutkerkow

14 - we turned the winery into a fightclub with @sucukundbratwurst 🥊

15 - we enjoyed the ride with @dazed x @vanmoof

16 - we celebrated our first raw wine fair with DJ biodynamite @svengrol 🕺

17 - we gave so many Tastings & talked a lot about wine also at the @kemmlerkemmler XMAS party

18 - we opened a little speakeasy cellar bar pssst 🤫

19 - we also celebrated with our team, thank you guys 🥹
