This Saturday, it’s Crafts and Crates time and we are honored to have the world renowned @nicolaymusic back with us again. If you came two years ago, you know his beat set was CRAZY…and this time you won’t have to freeze to hear him. lol.
But that’s not all, we got ATL’s longtime powerhouse @injex on the wheels too for the first time, and he’s bringing his eclectic international styles to the stage, along with our other special guest @nabanibanks blessing us with that soulful blend of funk / hip hop / jazz and more as only an ATL native can.

Rounding out the bill we got the dynamic duo of our brother and sister @mafiloko and @peppermint_gatty on the mix and the host with the most, @aos_fresh . We’ll have plenty of vinyl records on sale from our folks @jbsrecord …but …..what will you carry your records around in? Boom, we got you: special guest vendor @rahdudidit will be selling dope dope unique vinyl cases for you to cop.

As always, the beautiful Biergarten at @halfwaycrooksbeer is FREE to enter for all ages and they always got the on point fresh beer and cocktails plus food. So come out this Saturday September 19th from 3-7 and come enjoy some worldwide global FUNKINESS. Peace and see you then #CraftsAndCrates by @nicolaymusic

This year marks my 20th (!) year in these United States. To celebrate I am sharing my personal favorite moments and memories from those two decades.

Today: on September 20, 2011, me and my friends Chris Boerner, Matt Douglas and Nick Baglio aka @thehotatnights convened at Sound Pure Studios in Durham NC to record our SHIBUYA SESSION EP, a jazzy re-interpretation of a collection of tracks taken from my 2009 album City Lights Vol. 2: Shibuya. This EP was our first collaboration together and sparked the SHIBUYA SESSION TOUR across America in 2012. The amazing photos are by Greg Abate.

You can listen to the SHIBUYA SESSION EP on all platforms courtesy of #FEMusic.

This year marks my 20th (!) year in these United States. To celebrate I am sharing my personal favorite moments and memories from those two decades.

Today: three formally trained musicians walk into a jazz club and decide to take pity on the self-taught keyboardist sitting by himself at the bar. Sounds like the start of a good joke, but I can't otherwise describe the exhilarating experience that is sharing the stage with my pals Chris Boerner, Matt Douglas and Nick Baglio aka @thehotatnights. I have learned so much from how they, individually and collectively, take off into the stratosphere with pure abandon. For me, truly a highwire act without a net. For them, business as usual. What a thrill! When we come together it feels like a superhero team forming and I can't wait to see what is next for us.

Photos by the always incredible @justkeithestep, taken at City Winery on February 16, 2019 during the Washington DC stop of our "Glaciers" Tour.
