The day is finally here! It has been a long journey, filled with tons of ups and downs. I am truly grateful for each experience and the amazing people and teachers I have met along the way. When I graduated high school, I knew I wanted to become an elementary teacher, but I wasn’t ready for a new start. From starting school at Raritan Valley Community College to graduating and transferring to The College of New Jersey, I have learned the importance of being patient, flexible, and knowing things don’t always work out the way that you wanted it. I owe this all to my family, friends, and especially Mrs. Skavron who inspired me to become the person I am today. She was my first grade teacher who sadly passed away and I didn’t have the chance to thank her.

I’m also so thankful for @jennifertrabilcy and her wonderful fourth grade class I had the honor to teach. Without them and their support, I wouldn’t be half the teacher that I am today. I still have more to learn as an educator, but I can confidently say that teaching is and will always be my passion.

I am so proud to say I am officially a graduate from TCNJ the class of 2022 and I cannot wait to start my teaching career (hopefully coming soon)! 👩🏻‍🏫🍏✨ by @nicole.monaco
