Hi Papa,
Its been 40 days since you last held my hand. I really miss you. Its more quiet in the house, mama has been working a lot, and grandma asked me how to play some music yesterday on her kindle. …I see you everywhere especially when im driving; through the clouds, a butterfly, i just feel i know its you….. It was a little hard the first couple days…after spending so much time with you downstairs, it was weird sleeping in my own bed. The first night I actually freaked out the next morning because I thought I accidentally fell asleep and no one was watching you downstairs, forgetting you left to paradise already. I miss you.

The girls and I wrote you letters and the boys did not fail to show off your classical stories of a classic beer in your hand and always playing on the piano keys. I actually decided to leave a few keys with you while you lay down. I felt like there was no other way for you to remember how much your playing meant to us. You really have been popping up everywhere… I saw you in the clouds as I boarded my plane in Morocco and I remembered how you wanted to buy me a new PC before you passed…. in paris, I won that raffle papa… You got me that gift without even being next to me….. I miss you…. fourth of July will always be you. July will always be for us. Grandma made this beautiful shrine and mamas friends fixed the HAWAIIAN ashtray, from when you guys first came to the states.

I come talk to you quite often, sitting there and just telling you updates: my new job, my new relationship, what my next plans are. Everyone has been so kind…..there were so many people who showed up to help us get through this, but I still can’t fathom how I’ll never get one of your kisses ever again….. I made you a video, I think youd love how much smiling and how many memories I was able to fit in it. i really….. really miss you….. I hope heavens been treating you well, galavanting around with mamang? playing that grand piano we talked about? or maybe eating a classic machaca burrito? Please dont stop visiting me ok? I was given one of the best opportunities I have ever gotten! Job shadowing was absolutely the best experience of my life, thank you so much Kevin Kopelow! including Heath Seinfert, and Maria Courbanou. I hope to be able to come back soon! I learned so much and can't wait to be able to proceed in this amazing journey.
