@currie697 and I visited Palma, Can Picafort and Soller last week.With our dear friends @r.castello64 and @mateugodwin who took us to gorgeous places I have never been in the ten years I have been a regular visitor.Highlights were the company, of course- but also beautiful fine dining in wonderful beach and mountain restaurants, Raixa museum and gardens, the clear warm waters and white sandy beaches of Can Picafort and Soller, and the vintage train and tram ride through the Tramuntana mountains from Palma to the Port of Soller, through orange groves and mountain air.So many laughs and hugs and of course, the magical doggie who woke us up every morning, Kanda Wanda! Huge thanks to Fran, host of @purbeck.safari for a really wonderful afternoon- he is so informative, knowledgeable and friendly and we saw some amazing birds, animals and views off the beaten track while learning local history too.It was a really lovely time with family enjoying some late summer sun doing something unique and seeing parts of our local area we had never visited.Highly recommended! Big thanks also to @purbeckcidercompany as I was lucky enough to win this trip as part of a competition prize, we still have our cider tasting tour to book! Yum! A very fun creative weekend here in Dorset, in between work...#swanagefolkfestival with my aptly dressed parents, catching up with friends too,plus bought a fab hand painted table... then today @currie697 , Millie and I popped over to the @bsidefestival to see a couple of art installations and the end of festival gathering and procession on Portland. #lovewherewelive by @nicolefaraday

A lovely walk on the @symondsburyestate and surrounds, including exploring the ancient 'Holloways' -tracks with a jurassic feel, worn down over thousands of years by footsteps, cartwheels and rainwater, cutting up to 30 ft deep into the soft sandstone bedrock.Some carvings dating back to Anglo- Saxon times.With @currie697 and Millie taken in Symondsbury Estate by @nicolefaraday
