New rules aimed at underquoting mean vendors must publish their reserve as a single dollar figure at least seven days before an auction or fixed-date sale.

Since 1 October, listings have also had to show a Property Price Statement with recent comparable sales.

Buyers get a clearer starting point, and we expect more homes to sell before auction day.
