Thanks to the writer who made me aware of the social media and website impersonating me and asking writers for money. Ugh.

Please know any emails come only from my website Nicolemeier.com and I never solicit business cold. by @nicolemeierwrites

I’ve been listening to you, to myself, to the subtle shifts in the creative landscape around us. And what I’ve heard is the call for something more holistic.

So why The Whole Writer? This new name? The Whole Writer represents what I believe. We are all seeking wholeness in our creative lives. Not just techniques for better sentences, but nurturing the person who writes those sentences.

If this sparks your interest, I’d love for you to join me on Apple podcasts, Spotify, and Substack. by @nicolemeierwrites

If writing has started to feel heavy, lonely, or ruled by your inner critic, I’d love to invite you to spend a Saturday morning with me at Hanai Center in Bend this August.

After working with hundreds of writers, I’ve noticed something: many talented writers aren’t struggling because they lack ideas or dedication. They’re simply overwhelmed by the pressure, advice, and expectations that can come with writing.

Writing Whole isn’t about productivity or publishing. It’s about reconnecting with the part of you that wanted to write in the first place.

Whether you’re working on a novel, memoir, journal, or simply want to write again, you’ll leave with practical tools—and hopefully a little more kindness toward yourself.

No experience necessary. Just a curiosity about creating a more balanced writing practice.

I’d love to see you there. Registration is available through the link in my bio. by @nicolemeierwrites

Thank you @nicolemeierwrites for this wonderful conversation!

Our creativity doesn’t exist in isolation from our wellbeing, relationships, environments, and emotional landscapes.

In a world that’s increasingly fragmented, I believe we’re all seeking connection, community, sustainability, and meaning.

My new focus—The Whole Writer—represents what I believe we’re all seeking: wholeness in our creative lives. Not just techniques for better sentences, but nurturing the person behind those sentences.

If you’d like to join in the conversation around writing, creative well-being, and resources that tend to both your craft and your soul, come find me:

After years of working with writers and walking this path myself, I’ve noticed something: it’s not the writers with the most natural talent who necessarily make it. It’s the ones who embrace tenacity.

The ones who show up to the work, day after day, especially when they don’t feel like it. The ones who keep honing their craft and remain open to growing, even when growth feels uncomfortable.

Want to hear more? Just follow the link in my bio and come join the creative community. I’d love to see you there. by @nicolemeierwrites

There's no "right" way. But...there is an opportunity to approach the novel writing process in a way that's best suited to the kind of writer YOU are.👇🏻

Not what your writer friend or your favorite author says works for them. Because remember, each creative being is unique in how they work.

For example: Do you typically thrive on accountability? If so, setting writing dates in your calendar or joining a writing group might keep you motivated. This is also where a good book coach can come in, acting as your accountability partner and co strategist.🤓

Or maybe you prefer to write a chunk of pages, pause, and get actionable feedback before moving forward. This is where a writing partner or developmental editor can come in. Sometimes you just need to know if your manuscript is headed in the right direction before writing forward.

Whatever your process, I encourage you to be intentional about it. Find the rhythm and resources that work for you.💫📚 by @nicolemeierwrites
