15 years feels like a lifetime without you and sometimes it feels just yesterday. I still feel you in the stillness of early mornings and when i’m moving too fast and need to take a breath.

Not a day goes by where I don’t think of you. The way you lit up the room everywhere you went and still today when your name is brought up. I can’t put into words how much I miss you. It wouldn’t be enough for words to describe.

If you could see me now I hope you see your little girl growing into the woman you prayed for me to become. I sometimes wonder what you would say. Would you laugh at how much I talk with my hands like you did? Would you be proud to see how hard I worked to get where I’m at today and how much I care for others like you did? I wish you would come home everyday but i’m so grateful for the time I had with you.
Your love lives in my spirit and purpose. I feel you in every room. Most people in my life now never knew you.
But they know me, and in knowing me, they’ve come to know you.
