Such a beautiful and emotional experience. 🖤✨
Getting to reconnect with everyone, learn from incredible brands, discover new techniques, and share so much knowledge with one another has made this journey even more special. But what I’ll cherish the most is the bond I’ve had with everyone especially with my team. It’s amazing how people who started as strangers can become such an important part of your journey, inspiring you, supporting you, and making every moment unforgettable. Saying goodbye was definitely the hardest part because I’m genuinely going to miss everyone so much. I wish I could pause time and keep making these memories with you all a little longer. Forever grateful to Sephora for giving me this opportunity, for the experiences that have helped me grow, and for the incredible people who have made this journey so meaningful. This experience will always hold a special place in my heart, and I’ll carry the memories, friendships, and lessons with me forever.

I don’t think I’ll ever forget yesterday.

For one night, it felt like every Latino in the UK came together. We danced, we sang, we cried, and we celebrated our culture without feeling like we had to shrink ourselves or apologise for who we are. Watching thousands of people proudly embracing their roots, waving their flags was something I’ll carry with me forever.

I’m so grateful to @badbunnypr for shining a light on Latinos across the world and reminding us how powerful our community is. But this can’t be where the conversation ends.

Because here in the UK, we’re still not being seen. We’re still not being heard. We’re still not represented.

We’re not a trend. We’re not an aesthetic. We’re not a style. We are people. We are culture. We are history. We are Latinos.

It’s time for the UK to do better at recognising and representing the communities that make this country what it is. I want to see someone who looks like me on our screens. I want the next generation of Latino children growing up in the UK to know that they belong, that they matter, and that it’s more than okay to be exactly who they are.

We need to do better.

Governments, companies and media must to do better not just in representing Latinos, but in embracing and celebrating all the beautiful cultures that make up this country. Representation shouldn’t be an exception, it should be the standard.

Yesterday reminded us of our strength. Today, we keep pushing until we’re impossible to ignore.

Please, don’t let the light go out on us. Keep celebrating us. Keep telling our stories. Keep opening doors. We deserve to be seen, to be heard, and to be represented not just for one night, but every single day.
