The Ibizan Hound is a breed of dog brought to the island by the Phoenicians centuries ago Also called the Pharaoh Dog, for me represent the tradition, liveliness and beauty of this island.

I like this painting a lot, it deals with the idea of absence, disappearance and loss of love. I also like why I painted it at a time when I myself was disappearing to return, once again, to reinvent myself.
