Roller Disco in Leeds with @roller_girl_gang! 🪩🛼🥳
Was lovely to see everyone again, as the last time was back in Barca at Skate Love! ☀️
•
This was a somewhat impulsive choice this week to have a quick day trip to Leeds to join my skate pals for the roller disco, after a truly difficult week after losing one of my dear friends to cancer. I have definitely been feeling the need to escape and more than anything I'm reminded that we need to find the joy and light each day, even in such darkness. Skating makes me feel free, and I'm very grateful for this hobby. I don't include this caption for anything other than to wish anyone who's read this far **all the joy** possible, because life can be cruelly short, so we've got to make the most of it. 💜

After a week off skates (instead I've been onstage singing and dancing about in 9 to 5 the musical) felt good to have a quick twilight roll (and pose 📸) this afternoon 🖤🛼✨

🛼🎶✨ Dolly loves a multi-tasker right? ✨🎶🛼
Getting that Act 2 run prep in ahead of tomorrow's rehearsal for @mayhemtheatre 's 9 to 5 the Musical!
As much as I had fun doing this on skates today, it looks a lot more impressive with the rest of the cast onstage - get your tickets: ticketsource.co.uk/mayhem - Oct 26-29th ! 🎭

🛼🦖🦕 Dino skate 🦕🦖🛼
•
The dino became a symbol for our lil skate gang during the @roller_girl_gang #MRSJ subscription box last year - I think this outfit wouldn't be as subtle as our dino signal 😅
