GNR 2026 done!!!

Managed it in 2:09:51, which I was pretty pleased with given I haven’t trained too much!

Pretty thrilled to get through without stopping at all, though I feel like I’ve lost about 4 stone in SWEAT with that heat.

Raised over £740 for Alzheimer’s Society, in memory of my lovely Nana Marge (see pic 2!)

Special shoutout to the people of the North East who stood along the route and cheered, high-fived and handed out jelly babies, haribo, ice pops and water amongst other things - you are the reason this region is the best in the world.

And that’s a wrap on Dance Of The Macaroni Flowers!

My first feature film as 1st AD and couldn’t have done it without the legends in this photo.

Couldn’t have done it without most of the rest of the crew either, so lovely to see so many old friends and faces and we got to shoot it as a love letter to the greatest city on earth too! Beautiful film, beautiful script and beautiful people.

A full circle moment for me today.

My first ever day on a professional set was in the summer of 2011, about a week after I’d graduated Uni as an extra in Inspector George Gently, filming at Dance City in Newcastle.

Today I was back there shooting, but on my first full job as a 1st AD!

15 years down, here’s to the next 15 (and more hopefully!

Season 25/26 done and dusted.

Outlander S8.

Was only supposed to do 2 months, ended up doing 6 gorgeous months up in Glasgow and had the absolute time of my life.

Thrilled to have been a very small part of such a great show.
