Just 12 days after losing your mom and dad, here you are:
holding your head high, refusing to play the victim, and refusing to give up.
Instead, you are finishing high school with high honors.

Today, I found myself reflecting deeply on your journey.
I remembered how, at only 14 years old, you made the brave decision to stay in the US, asking me to help you convince your parents to let you stay here with us.
To the surprise of the whole family, they allowed it (but of course, they knew who you were). Today, I look back and everything makes complete sense.

Their souls knew they would leave this earth soon. They knew they had to allow you and your brother to become independent before they left.
It all makes sense now.

Seeing you graduate today with the highest award and a full-ride college scholarship doesn’t just make me proud. You know why? Because from the very first day I walked into that high school with you to register, I knew this day would come.

There was never a single doubt in my mind. Watching you get all those awards today, all I could think was, “I knew it. I always knew it.”

But, cousin you know what truly blows my mind about you? What surprised me and made me beyond proud of you?
The way you have shown that there is nothing in this world that can break you!!
Not even losing your parents the way you did could stop you. Wow. Wow. Wow

Saying I am proud of the strong woman you have revealed yourself to be is not even enough.
I am simply at a loss for words.

All I can say is thank you.

Thank you for being such an inspiration to me and to everyone fortunate enough to know you.

You are proof that the human spirit is stronger than any tragedy.

My heart still struggles to accept that you’re both gone. I’m still speechless…💔
I love you forever, Auntie and Uncle.

Mom, if souls truly continue beyond this life and you can hear my words, please help your sister and your brother-in-law find peace, light, and love after this tragedy.
