Ended the week with the most important meeting in my diary… dinner with the hubby 🥂

We both run businesses in completely different worlds, so naturally, date night ALWAYS turns into work. The wins, the struggles, the things that haven’t worked, the mistakes we’ve made… and what we’d do different next time. Plus plenty of challenging each others thinking along the way 🤔

We don’t always agree.. and neither of us is great at backing down 😅 but I guess that’s the point?

I’ve realised the best advice rarely comes from someone doing the same job as you. It comes from someone who has no idea about your industry and asks the obvious question you’ve stopped asking years ago.

It’s so easy to get stuck in your own head… sometimes we don’t need another podcast or self-help book.. we just need one honest conversation with someone who genuinely wants to see us grow, but sees the world differently.

Someone who’ll challenge you, back you and tell you the truth even when it’s not what you want to hear.

Whoever it is… partner, friend, family. We all need people like that in our corner 🤍

And if they’ll meet you at your favourite restaurant knowing full well that it isn’t theirs… even better 🤣
