I forgot this at the doctor’s and finally got it back today! To be clear, I forgot my BOOK, not my cute little DOG 😅 Even though it’s devastating to leave your book somewhere, especially mid-read. Super excited to finish THE HEART TRIALS by @authorjelle now!⁣
⁣
One good thing about forgetting my book is that I made a new J. Elle fan because my favorite nurse read during her breaks and loved it!!! I’m even more excited to read it so we can talk next visit!⁣

💭 What are you reading?

ACT LIKE YOU LOVE ME! VOL. 1 by Xuann was the happiness I needed today!⁣
⁣
What if you had a Minji plushie (so cute!🥹) that controlled your celebrity boss? I laughed so much at the hijinks that Ji-eon got into with the plushie that has power over Doyun. I am rooting for Ji-eon and Doyun! Their banter is such good flirting!⁣
⁣
I don’t have a plushie to control anyone, but I recently got a BbokAri that talks in Felix’s deep voice and wishes me goodnight. I adore it. Life is good as a Stay 💖

ACT LIKE YOU LOVE ME! VOL. 1 releases 11/3.
⁣
Thanks, Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group, for the ARC!⁣

My best friend is moving back to France tonight. I’m like the classic quote from Ron Burgundy: “I am in a glass case of emotion!” I know, I know, she’s not leaving me for a remote island with no internet, but she no longer lives on the same continent as me. So it’s not like Elodie is a hop away; she’s a swim across the ocean away in a new time zone, and I have to do math when I want to call her, and I hate math! 😫😫😫 Dramatic over here, I know⁣
⁣
I’m excited for this new era in Elo’s life. It will be wonderful! Plus, I have the best reason to go to France now! And I was blessed with the ARC of her new book, FROST AND FOUND, so it was like I was gifted a present for her moving, haha⁣

@elosreadingcorner - Thank goodness for booksta and the weird things that make us who we are and brought us together 💜🌙🪐⁣

Am I officially a K-pop girlie since I went to my first event today?! It was for Stray Kids 🤩 I was nervous, but had such a good time! I found a new tea place, got a fun cupsleeve, some new bag charms (and more!), and a new BbokAri plush that will literally speak to me in his deep Felix voice 😍🤤 It was a fun new adventure!! Although I’m going to have to be careful because life as a STAY could get expensive quickly lol⁣

HIT OR MISS by @ellekelkauthor is the only other thing that was on my mind all weekend besides the LA concerts of BTS. (New life goal: see BTS in concert 😍🥵🤯) I finished it Saturday, and now Elle Kelk’s Mia and Ethan live rent-free in my head forever!⁣
⁣
I love when I know I’m reading one of my new favorite books before I’ve even reached the halfway point. HIT OR MISS had everything I love in college sports romance:⁣
⁣
⚽️ Bookish wallflower x Golden retriever⁣
⚽️ He falls first⁣
⚽️ Found family⁣
⚽️ So much witty banter⁣
⚽️ Gothic university with no cell phones⁣
⚽️ US students at a UK school⁣
⚽️ Mental health rep⁣
⁣
I laughed so much. I felt like these emojis 🥹😍🥰 so many times. And I was so surprised at how much I cried!! Mia and Ethan had their claws in my heart and squeezed multiple times, but it was worth it! And I can’t wait to reread this and experience what’s next at Hemden University!⁣

Last night was incredibly special to celebrate the book release of IN STORMY WEATHER by @authorchelseacurto with @peytoncorinneauthor at @thenewromanticsbooks in Orlando! The room was a big bubble of happiness that kept me smiling the whole time 🥰 Peyton was an excellent talking partner for Chelsea, asking her interesting and funny questions. I was already super excited about ISW, but Chelsea has me so giddy to read it, hunt for Easter eggs, and truly fall in love with Sebastian and Quincy!⁣
⁣
Chelsea is an absolute light in this world. If you think she shines bright online, have sunglasses for when you see her in person! 💜⁣
⁣
💭 What’s a recent experience that made you happy?⁣
⁣
PS - Huge shoutout to TNR, who I already loved so much and visit every time I’m here. July heat and withdrawing off medication did not make this an easy trip for me. Yesterday was extremely difficult, and I almost didn’t make it to the event - my reason for coming to Florida! They were so incredibly nice and accommodating! Best of the best! 🫶🏻 taken in The New Romantics by @niftyreads

Happy release day to IN STORMY WEATHER by @authorchelseacurto!!! 🥳🫶🏻💙⛈️🌪️💛⁣
⁣
I’m so excited that Chelsea’s first traditionally published romance book is live in the world! An academic rivals-to-lovers romance about storm-chasing meteorologists during hurricane season in Florida 😍 Say less!⁣
⁣
💭 Are you a fan of storms? I love being cozy and reading during them!⁣
