I thank God to be a part of such a great organization the Cocoa Lodge 55 of the Mighty Zone 2 of MWUGLFL. Quick backstory this time 9 years ago in 2017 I was 17 years old I had finished my associates degree and graduated high school and the last and only thing I asked my parents for (which was hard for me being so self sufficient before I went to college) was $300 to buy a laptop. I actually ended up taking out a student loan (which I paid off my first semester in college working two jobs) to pay for the laptop. This past Sunday our brothers donated 4 laptops to graduating seniors so they will not have to endure that same struggle on their journey off to college. taken in Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church by @nigelschroeter

As a father is my job to raise them up and send them in the proper direction so it’s my job to ensure that my sons don’t make the same mistakes I made or experience the same trauma I’ve lost many friends, but there’s one that has always stood out for a lot of reason, but primarily because he always spoke so highly of me and told me to keep pressing in the right direction, and not be product of my environment so since I don’t drink, I got the juice with the lil red tint I drink half of it as you still live through me, brother and the other half I returned to the earth as when it evaporates, it will rise and meet your spirit in heavens… sometimes being a father is like being a good friend a thankless job but you poured into me and I’m going to continue to pour into them I thank everyone who cared enough to open their mouth even when I didn’t listen cause I wouldn’t be here today without you all #lllr🙏🏾🕊 #fatherhood by @nigelschroeter
