Every time slavery is discussed, one phrase always appears:
“Africans sold Africans.”

But is that the full story?
In this episode, Lawal and Sam break down what really happened during the transatlantic slave trade - the role of European powers, African kingdoms, resistance movements, and the system that turned human beings into cargo.
Was it “just business”?
Was it collaboration under pressure?
Or was it something much bigger?
This is not about emotion.
It’s about context.
Watch till the end and decide for yourself.

Some of the best hair cuts you can get are on the streets. Daniel and his mates can’t afford the shops in Victoria Island but they have to make more money in makeshift setups in this highbrow area in Lagos.

.
It is Significant to note that this Dam was named after the river OBA which the European obliquely named Awba. - (Directorate of Public Communication, UI)
