Wow.

What a day was had down at the farm.

There was no shortage of fun on Saturday, and it’s safe to say the first Nightcap party was a resounding success.

Whilst the dust is settling, we want to take some time to thank the people that helped us put together a party to remember.

Firstly, a massive thank you to Bridge Farm for letting us use their unique space, and giving us the freedom to do with it as we pleased.

To our good friends and DJ’s: Sam, Issy, Adam and Mimi, who treated us to some unbelievable music throughout the day and without whom it wouldn’t have been half the party it was.

To Alex from Brrrap PA Hire for his wicked Funktion-One system which was the centrepiece that brought everything together; if you were there, you already know this one packed a punch.

To our lovely bar staff, who held it down for us, kept things running smoothly and our stress levels at a minimum.

To our photographer Leon, who captured some great memories in motion that you can see above.

To those who stayed behind to help us pack down and clean up afterwards, you’re the real MVP’s.

But most of all, a heartfelt thanks to the wonderful people who put their faith in us and brought their special energy to the dance floor.

We’re already thinking about what we can do in the future, so keep your eyes peeled for the next one. We’ll be back in the new year, and look forward to dancing with you all again.

With love

True disciples of the scene don’t come around very often. But when they do, you know about it. Where others might dip their toe, Ichie dives in head first, and it only takes one afters to know that she’s only in it for the love of the game.

Issy’s a carefully studied selector, a real connoisseur; and this fact is never more apparent than when she’s in control. Her expansive taste pairs intricate knowledge like malbec with manchego, and boy does she have the beats to back it all up.

There’s levels to this game, and if you want an ID, she probably has it: last time she played I was sniping so much they sent a specialist negotiator to bargain with me and the police called my mum to do a background check.

All jokes aside, Issy’s a real one and lovely to boot. It’s a proper treat to have her on board with us for our maiden voyage and the party’s in good hands with her, so I’ll park this here and let the records do the talking.

Don’t sleep on this, it’s gonna get hot. taken in Bridge Farm by @nightcap.bristol

What to say about Sam Lester.

Sam is many things; good friend, sound bloke, stalwart of the bristol underground scene. Most notably however, he is a serious purveyor of black-market criminal beats.

Some say you need special clearance to view his Bandcamp wishlist. Others claim he’s wanted by Romanian intelligence for infiltrating the music industry. I personally heard they sent a team of frogmen in a submarine to extract his collection from the Sinaloa Cartel.

Whatever the truth may be, one thing is for certain: the @_____sugarcoat showrunner will be setting the pace nicely after taking over from the Nightcap residents - be sure to get down and catch him before he goes back into witness protection.

A little late but who’s counting… us, actually!

Next Saturday we’re bringing alive an intimate setting down at Bridge Farm with some of our favourite local selectors, including a top secret duo, all of whom will be bringing their most elusive and dangerous tracks to blow your little cotton socks off.

Tickets are low for this one, so if you haven’t got yours yet; don’t say we didn’t warn you.

With love,
Nightcap

After much planning, many meetings and plenty of general dilly-dallying, we're finally ready to announce something special:

The first Nightcap party.

We’re bringing a full day of quality music in an intimate setting at The Bridge Farm in September.

Over 8 hours, the Nightcap residents will be joined by Sam Lester and Ichie, accompanied by a secret b2b to close the night.

Expect a mix of house, electro and minimal from some of Bristol’s best underground DJs.

We'll be commencing at 2pm and finishing at 10pm, with details on set times coming soon.

Be sure to get your tickets sooner rather than later as due to the small capacity, tickets will not be guaranteed closer to the date. by @nightcap.bristol
