Shinjuku after dark.

Lost in the brightest city I’ve ever walked through. Tonight, I wandered through this side of Tokyo, where every street felt alive and every neon sign seemed to tell its own story.

Yet tucked away in the corners, places like Omoide Yokocho slow time down, offering a glimpse of old Tokyo amidst the endless energy of the city.

Somewhere between the neon and the silence, Tokyo reminded me why I still love street photography even though i took a break from it.

Rome, 17th October 2026

I find myself coming back to this same spot every once in a while.
The same view, same ancient stones, but somehow it's a different feeling each time.

Maybe it’s not the place that changes, but us.

And for some reason, watching the sun rise over these ruins always feels like revisiting an old memory. One I never get tired of.

My Japan trip was amazing, especially because it was my very first time there.

Before the trip, I was overwhelmed by all the incredible scenes and photographs of Japan I had seen on my feed from other creators. So I went looking for those places myself.

I came home with moments and scenes I will forever treasure.

Some nights in Japan I just walked around with my camera without really knowing where I was going.

A quiet street, some lanterns, a row of vending machines, people heading home… nothing particularly special, but somehow these are the moments I ended up loving the most from Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.

Just Japan at night, the way I remember it.

The Uonami Fish Bar

One of the shots I really wanted to get in Japan.

That night though, no tripod and no proper support. Just a shot I really wanted to make.

So I improvised… the wrist strap wrapped around the railing, camera resting on top of my sling bag, and a lot of careful balancing while hoping nothing moved..

Not exactly the most professional looking setup from behind the scenes, but it worked. Sometimes photography is simply about finding a way to make the shot happen.

For post, I kept it simple as always. @lightroom Lightroom Mobile, the only app I use exclusively for all my post-production work.

My first trip to Japan — two unforgettable weeks.

Tokyo → Kyoto → Osaka → Nara → Tokyo → Kamakura

Five places, countless moments, and a trip I already wish I could relive. Until next time, Japan.

I hope I’ll get to come back someday. Already missing these places, with so much more still waiting to be discovered — and hopefully captured through my lens.

Back in Tokyo. Spent the night wandering the streets and alleys of Asakusa with my camera, no real destination — just following the lights and whatever caught my eye. Loving the reds and the blues 🔴🔵. Tokyo at night never gets old.
