You asked for an app. A lot.

So congratulations. The Nightify app is now officially live on the App Store and Google Play!

Nightlife planning is weird. So we’re turning the chaotic scene into a system.

Sometimes you’re trying to find somewhere for dinner, and also a bar, and also a nightclub. So we built something where you can browse venues, parties, and everything that is happening tonight.

Sometimes you don’t want to message an admin, wait 20 minutes, send screenshots to your friends, and wonder if there’s still a spot left when they finally reply. So we built real-time floor plans, availability, deposits, and bookings that let you see exactly what’s available right now and lock it in yourself.

Sometimes you’re already out and suddenly need an afters plan because the venue you’re at has become involved in an unexpected conversation with local authorities. So we built something where you can quickly browse other venues and events close to you that are still open (and perhaps a little more tight-knit with law enforcement).

Sometimes your favorite event organizer announces a rave, your favorite venue launches a guest shift, or tickets go live for a party you actually wanted to attend, and everyone else knew before you and you saw it on Instagram Story too late. So we built a better way to discover events, get notified, secure guest lists, buy tickets, and actually be in the know (if not the first to know).

Sometimes you just want to lie in bed and browse nightlife the same way people browse food delivery apps when they’re not actually ordering food. So we built something that’s genuinely fun to scroll, with music, crowd, dress code, menus, photos, pricing, floor plans, and real-time information all in one place.

And we’re only getting started.

Maps. Notifications. Recommendations. App-exclusive features. Personalized updates. More ways to discover what’s happening around you before anyone else.

Our developers worked very hard on this. Please make their suffering worth it.

A good night out doesn’t end at the last bar. It ends when you get home.

And let’s be honest, a lot of you still drive out to party. Not sure why, but you do. So this just makes sense.

Two years looks good on us.

Exactly two years ago today, we introduced Nightify to the world. Since then, we’ve grown, evolved, and found a whole lot more worth building.

Meet the new Nightify. New look. Bigger ambitions. Deeper technology (you know we like it deep). New partnerships, new experiences, and a lot more happening after dark. Some of which we can’t tell you about just yet.

Same obsession with nightlife. A whole lot more up our sleeves.

Four days. One liver. An ambitious calendar (definitely bookmark this).

@bkkbarshow is upon us! Which means the city’s bartenders are about to become extremely difficult to find at their usual bars. Everyone’s either attending a seminar, hosting someone from another country, or working a guest shift somewhere else entirely.

And naturally, you’ll want to be everywhere.

If you’ve experienced Bangkok Bar Show weekend before, you know the guest shifts around town get packed. We’re talking some of the busiest nights these bars will see all year. It’s basically the Eras Tour for people who spend money on cocktails, with visiting bartenders instead of Taylor Swift and significantly more gin.

In many ways, it’s also the unofficial start of Bangkok’s nightlife high season. The international bar crowd descends on the city, familiar venues fill up with new faces, and there’s something happening everywhere you look.

So we’ve done the responsible thing and put together a complete schedule of the whole beautiful mess, from October 23–26. Consider this your cheat sheet for deciding which events to prioritize.

Schedules are subject to change at all times, so keep an eye on their Instagram page for the latest updates.

We’re especially proud to be an official ticketing partner for Bangkok Bar Show, with many of our Nightify venue partners joining the festivities across the city. It’s a pretty exciting weekend for our community.

Swipe through, save it, and send it to the friend you plan to drag along.

🎟️ Bangkok Bar Show tickets are available exclusively on Nightify.

See you somewhere between the first tasting and the last terrible decision. 🍸 by @nightify

@moderndayculture is one of our favorite little listening bars ever. Strictly vinyl, good drinks, and a very good reason to spend a few hours doing absolutely nothing but listening to music.

We’ll also be stopping by on October 17 for Off the Record, our Ekkamai vinyl bar crawl! Three bars, one night, and plenty of records.

@buddhaandpals works best when jazz is actually the reason you went out, not something happening somewhere behind your conversation.

You do not need to know every standard, every player, or exactly when to nod thoughtfully. This place works just as well if your jazz education is currently “I like saxophone” and a vague memory of “La La Land.”

It is also a very easy date-night recommendation. Sit down, order drinks, watch the band, and enjoy the fact that neither of you has to be interesting for every single second of the evening.

And if you are currently someone who “doesn’t really listen to jazz,” Buddha & Pals is a pretty convincing place to see if that remains true. taken in Buddha & Pals by @nightify

Bangkok, it’s been a minute... but our bar crawls are back. New neighborhoods, new bars, new people to meet, and a whole lot more nights worth going out for.

Introducing Nightify Presents, our new home for original events and experiences. Bar crawls, parties, intimate sessions, and whatever else we come up with next. All curated by yours truly.

First up: Off the Record, an Ekkamai vinyl bar crawl through three very different bars, built around good music, good drinks, and even better company. We’re keeping this one intimate, with a small group, a dedicated host, and a night that moves from vinyl listening to cocktails, disco, and a proper late-night finish.

Here’s where we’re taking you:

@moderndayculture (7:30–9 PM)
A micro listening bar run by vinyl obsessives. Thai herb cocktails, records spinning, and a little time to settle in and meet everyone.

@clubsalva (9:10–10:30 PM)
Right next door, but a completely different world. Dalí-inspired interiors, fermented-forward cocktails, and a soundtrack of jazz, house, and disco.

@redvelvet.ekkamai (10:45 PM–12 AM)
One of Ekkamai’s newest openings. All-red interiors, a DJ on the decks, and enough room to finally spread out and end the night right.

🎟 ฿990 gets you:
🍸 A welcome drink at all three bars
✨ Exclusive offers throughout the night
💊 @drinkaid.th to prevent all your hangovers
👯 A dedicated Nightify host guiding the group
🫶 A whole new group of people to meet along the way

Coming alone? Please do. That’s half the fun. Bringing your crew? Bring them too. Introverted? We’ll take care of you, the route, and introductions.

Limited spots available. Tickets are live on Nightify. Link in bio. by @nightify

Thailand นายแน่มาก! For the first time ever, a Thai bar has landed in the world’s top five. We fact-checked! 🇹🇭

Our robust bar culture definitely wasn’t built in a day, baby, but it’s now world-class. The World’s 50 Best Bars 2026 rankings were revealed earlier today, and while we had a pretty good idea which Thai bars would make the list, we didn’t know where they’d land. Now we do!

We’ve actually been awake since 5 AM tracking the results, but figured we’d let Thailand wake up before screaming about them.

This is always a big day for the bar world, and seeing Thai bars recognized at this level is something we’re very happy to celebrate. There are years of work behind these rooms, from the teams behind the bar to everyone building the scene around them. So, like we did with the 51–100 list, we’re giving the rankings a little less analysis and the people on them a lot more applause.

Here’s where the Thai bars landed:

📍@bar.us.bkk — No. 4. @taln and @aumveerach founded this Drinking Room, where the cocktail menu moves through Starter, Main, and After. Ordering dinner entirely in liquid form is a very convincing proposition here, especially when the progression is this deliberate. Up from No. 15 last year, Bar Us is now in the world’s top five! And bookings are going off the charts since this announcement...

📍@drywavecocktailstudio — No. 27. First time in the Top 50! Created by the very lovely @supawit_palm and Niwarin “Ae” Phlainoi, the bar that needs no introduction opened in 2024. Up from No. 88 last year, the team have made one of the biggest jumps here.

📍@bkksocialclub — No. 30. @philipbischoff_ and the team at @fsbangkok bring serious cocktail credentials to a room with soaring arches, golden lighting, and a towering back bar. Its Mexico-inspired menu gives us plenty to work through, especially the agave. Moving up from No. 49 last year.

With the rainy season soon moving out of the way, see you out and about! by @nightify

Some bartenders looked at food and decided, yeah, we should probably be drinking this too.

Savory cocktails borrow ingredients more commonly found on a plate, from seafood and dashi to tomato, curry, and cheese. Some go all in on salt and umami, while others add a subtler savory note to balance sweet, sour, or herbal flavors.

It may sound unusual, but in the hands of the right bartender, dinner can work surprisingly well in a glass.

Here’s where dinner starts getting suspiciously drinkable.

• 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 (@cherryolivecocktailclub): Bacardi Carta Blanca rum, Muscat liqueur, crème de violette, blue cheese, orgeat, olive oil, and lemon.
• 𝗦𝗲𝗮-𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮 (@008bar): Chili-seed-infused tequila, seafood cordial, fresh lime juice, celery bitters, and red chili oil.
• 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘆 + 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗼 + 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮 (@bar.us.bkk): Gin, Rémy Martin 1738 Cognac, Italian parsley, lacto-fermented banana, cucumber, ponzu sauce, and clarified cherry tomato juice.
• #𝟬𝟮𝟰 (@messengerservicebar): Redistilled squid ink gin, umeshu, Iichiko, ginger, dashi, seaweed, yuzu, and Champagne acid.
• 𝗛𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗽 (@cieloskybar): Sierra Antiguo Plata, 400 Conejos mezcal, 1757 Rosso vermouth, tomato juice, honey, fresh lime juice, and clarified milk.
• 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗮𝗺 (@barsathorn): Patrón Blanco tequila, prik kaeng phed curry distillate, coriander, and sour blend.
• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗢**** 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽 (@opm.bkk): Grey Goose Altius vodka, Mae Nai’s mead, D.O.M. Bénédictine, caramelized onions, hazelnut butter, Gruyère, and a secret ingredient.
• 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗲 (@bkksocialclub): Grey Goose vodka, tomato water, spices, soy, chili, pickles, citrus, salt, and Mexican light beer.
• 𝗙𝗮𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿 (@lennons.bkk): Inspired by pad Thai, with Wild Turkey bourbon, peanut butter, chives, tamarind, orgeat, calamansi, lime, and egg white.

Dinner is still dinner. It just comes with better glassware now. by @nightify

@blackcabinbar is 10 now, and looking back, the thing that stands out is how little interest it ever had in staying in one musical lane.

Back in 2017, the weekly program could jump from blues and soul disco to indie folk, electronic music, jazz, and R&B without making a big deal out of it. Early names included @supergoods_bnd, @stoicthailand, Motherfunky, and even @phumviphurit, while crossover nights like Concert Gallery mixed live music with visual art too.

That probably explains why Black Cabin has always felt a bit more plugged into Bangkok’s music community than a bar that simply happens to have bands on. The lineup changes, the years move on, but there is still that sense that somebody behind the scenes is actually listening.

For the anniversary, they are stretching it across three nights. October 7 has Moderndog. October 8 brings @noipru. Then October 9 turns into Black Cabin All Star, bringing familiar names from the venue’s history back together for the final night.

10 years feels pretty deserved.

The first time we went to @outofordinary.bar, we were genuinely shocked.

We had never been to a bar in Bangkok that just started blasting city pop and anime music before. The weeb contingent of the Nightify team started screaming. Some of us suddenly knew considerably more Japanese than previously disclosed.

And that is basically why we like this place. Bangkok has bars for almost every musical persuasion imaginable, but an entire bar where people actually come to hear Japanese pop music? This was new to us.

Tell us in the comments if there are others because, based on our extensive and highly accredited Wikipedia-level knowledge of Bangkok bars, this might be the only one. Happy to be wrong, though.

Check what’s playing that night, then book OOO (Out of Ordinary) on Nightify. With a place this specific, the programming is kind of the whole point. taken in OOO - Out Of the Ordinary by @nightify
