When I say night you say wing…. NIGHT… WING… NIGHT… WINGG!!

Dear,
UAB new student orientation…..
Thank you so much for everything you have done for me throughout this summer. Thank you for giving me the family I never knew I’d find here, thank you for all the ever lasting memories. Thank you for providing me with lifelong bonds, friendships, and healing. You were truly the experience I needed to blossom into becoming myself. Thank you for helping me heal, for helping me find my passion, for helping me be the guidance to students that I never had. Thank you for proving to not only others but myself that I had what it took to help these students and that I truly am special. Thank you for showing me that I do have people that love me; and thank you for giving me the courage, strength and confidence to do things I never thought I could. You have truly helped me become not only a better person, but a better guide, friend, brother, son, etc. I am forever grateful for you because of what you’ve done for me. Thank you for providing me a safe space and for giving me the courage to get over my perceived weaknesses. And thank you Allah for everything🫶🏽. I love my new family to death and am so grateful for each and one of them🥹🫶🏽

If there’s anything this semester has taught me, it’s to always believe in myself. Be who you are, be true to yourself, and only spread a positive light to those around you. There were SO many ups and downs this semester, but it taught me so much. I grew, found my people, and embraced my true self. I wouldn’t be where I am right now if it wasn’t for the support of the amazing people in my life. So thank you to my ride or die’s for always having my back and for constantly supporting me no matter what💙💙. And as my mummy always says, jo hota hai, ache ke liye hota hai. Peace out sophomore year 🥹🥹

P.S. thank you @malcolmtodd for this banger 🥹🫶🏽🫶🏽 by @nihal_mitha
