A new body of work from Street Attitude Collective member Nicola Bianchi.

Nicola continues his visual research around light and fragments of life. Light reshapes ordinary scenes, isolating gestures, figures and details that might otherwise pass unnoticed, somewhere between documentary observation and a more subjective reading of the everyday.

Memory remains a constant thread throughout his work.

The Street Attitude Collective brings together a selected group of photographers with distinct and consistent photographic practices.

We are currently reviewing new candidates for the Collective.

Honoured to share that One Day at a Time was selected as a finalist for Best Editing at the 2026 The Art of Documentary @theartofdocumentary One Day Doc.

We didn’t take home the award this year, but being recognised again is something I’m deeply grateful for.

A six-minute short documentary, directed, shot and edited by me, following a glimpse into the life of Jack @jackmiddleclass

Grateful for the recognition. Even more grateful for the story and the trust behind it. taken in Sydney, Australia by @nihites

Photography and poetry may belong to different worlds, but both are driven by the same impulse: to distil experience into its most essential form.

They isolate life fragments: gestures silences, a fleeting expression and allow them to suggest something much larger.

Brought you by Street Attitude.

Inspiration doesn’t come first. You just notice it, later.

Every workshop, someone asks what inspired the series.

Truth is, most of my projects didn’t start with an idea, just a street we kept returning to, a gesture we’d shot ten times without meaning to. The concept came after, from the pattern, not before it.
