My hair tells the stories of my ancestors rebellious, difficult, untamed but also resilient, strong, and unapologetically black. 4c hair is unquestionably unique and diverse💕 (side note: don’t touch my hair)

I can’t believe it’s my first Mother’s Day! After 72 hours of a long labor and an unplanned C-section. This little boy made me a mommy and I would do it again in every life time. I am so happy to be your mom and I thank God for giving me and trusting me with the responsibility of your life. Being a mom is HARD but you’re so worth it. shout out to the moms who do this day in and day out, late nights to early mornings and gives their all💕. Happy Mother’s Day ladies 😘 by @nihjayapetty
