Textbook Japanese vs how we really talk in Osaka 🐙

日本人ちゃう。 means "I'm not Japanese." In Osaka, じゃない becomes ちゃう.
さっさとせえ！ is "hurry up!" with no polite words at all. Moms in Osaka say this every morning.
なにみとんねん！こら！ means "what are you looking at?!" You will hear it in Osaka comedy all the time.
おおきに is the old Kansai "thank you". Older people and shop owners still say it, and it always makes people smile.
アホか！ In Osaka we say アホ, not バカ. バカ sounds much stronger here.
もうええっちゅうねん。 means "that's enough!" It is a classic tsukkomi, the funny comeback line in Osaka comedy.

These are very casual. Use them with close friends, not with staff, teachers or people you just met 😂

Arita Wagyu steak at J in Roppongi 🥩🔥

Raised by a family farm in Miyazaki, this beef took gold in the Wagyu category at the 2025 World Steak Challenge, one of only three Japanese producers to do it.

J dry-ages it with its own mold-aging method, then grills it over charcoal. Deep, nutty aroma, clean fat, zero heaviness.

As an Osaka guy, I don't say this about Tokyo food lightly… but this was ほんまに美味い (honestly delicious) 😂

No pilot license? No problem ✈️

This lounge in Namba has a Boeing 737MAX flight simulator with a real cockpit setup. A licensed instructor sits next to you and guides you from takeoff to landing. It felt so real I actually got nervous 😂
