Knowing how to find healing within yourself so you can become a better maternal leader for your sons is the true sign of a woman moving generations forward. Not just a Queen… but an extraordinary Mother.

I absolutely adore the way you show our sons what love, strength, grace, and integrity look like through your actions every single day. From our perspective, you are setting the standard for what “right” looks like, and that impact will live far beyond today.

I never would have thought 11 years ago that I would run into the love of my life.. Like literally the love of my life. Time doesn’t even feel like that long ago because it still feels like where we left off in 2015.
People ask me, you know as a man what made you know she was one the one. And the only thing I can think of is (alignment). A lot of times I see videos or movies of men having to not be themselves or show no vulnerability with their spouse because of being out of alignment. We move in the same direction because of this and that’s why it doesn’t feel like 8 years married it feels like the very first day and I love this life we have created and continue to build. A seed can’t grow without all the proper elements. You have positioned me in the right rooms to grow to the level of life I achieved. I remember at the age of 15 you tracking down the district manager of Deals in North Oaks and literally talking me right into my first job. That same job taught me my first sense of responsibility and how to become highly valuable in the work place and to fast forward now being at the level of life and career I’m at now. Mom in my opinion is an action. Over the last 8+ years you have done everything to equip yourself with all the tools needed to build not only emotionally intelligent boys but to make sure you’re always there to show up when you know they just need that mothers touch.. and I mean literally mothers touch (🙄 hugs) lol. Can’t believe my oldest is in 7th!! Sometimes as my kids are going through their stages in life I can’t help not to have flashbacks of my self when I was in 7th or 5th or 2nd. Praying a safe school year and looking forward to another year of “A Honor Roll “🎉🎉🙏🏾 by @nijell_j
