“Let’s all meet again in 12 years”

Happy Birthday to me!
This year I got sandwiched between 2 cars again. This is the 3rd time in my life I’ve been hit & 2nd time I’ve been squished. This one hurt more than I like to admit. But I can do most exercises again, the concussion is gone & I didn’t lose a limb so I call that a win! I was more worried about my Pulguita but like Takemichi I can take a hit & don’t give up that easily, whether I like it or not 😂
This year I got to go to Germany & meet some wonderful mutuals. It was kind of an unhinged idea with little planning, but I worked overtime & saved enough money to do it. I did this as an early birthday present to myself & it was honestly so much fun! I loved getting to learn about Germany & getting lost in the country! Depressed German bread lives rent free in my head now 😂
This year I went to less cons & events. I’m so grateful for the people I’ve gotten to know over the years old & new but I’m also really appreciative for the people I didn’t get to know. Everything that’s happened so far has been for the better & I honestly feel really lucky. 🙏🏼
I’m so excited for the new season of Tokyo Revengers. I’m so excited for my new Cosplans. I’m excited for my non-cosplay plans. I’m just so excited & I would not change a thing.
Happy Birthday to me & I hope your having a great year too 🫶🏼

“I will be the top guy in Toman”

This post is solemnly to show off the Tasuki & upgraded wig! My goal with the tasuki was to duplicate the tasuki cross that the cheerleaders & biker gangs wore / wear in Japan, but more anime. I wanted the shape to stay up & it did & I’m really proud of that!
-
This is the first time without a doubt in my mind that I can say I’m really happy with a wig. It took 4 attempts but I’m SOOO happy with this wig. To me, for one of my favorite characters, it was VERY much worth it. I feel like I’m starting to finally get somewhere with wigs even tho I have SOOO much more to learn! Still I’m so proud of what I’ve accomplished so far! ☺️
