30.03.25, a new beginning.
My commitment to my faith, and a testimony not only to His love, but to a mother’s love. 🖤

Yesterday morning during service, Pastor Phil spoke on the love God holds for each of us regardless of where we may stand in front of Him. There is no criteria of where He expects us to be to recieve His love or guidance, which got me thinking of all the times I’ve stood before God, never once has He look at me as this broken down child.

A child who regularly attempted to take her life. One who chose a worldly life in desperation to please others. A girl who has had her bout of mental health struggles since the age of 9, who’s battle with depression, anxiety, an eating disorder, and ptsd still has not been won. Ultimately a child who feels so misunderstood, only ever holding anger, pain and hatred in her heart.

Little did I know that when I was enduring years upon years of this pain, He had a hand on my shoulder feeling every ounce of it. But in His plan He trusted, and by me blindly following this plan was to trust that even in the chaos, He is in control.

A year ago when I opened my heart again to God and took in His devine love, my desire to live better for Him and By Him took a hold on me. Almost as if He had been waiting for me all this time.

Not only with His love has He been able to slowly put me back together, but the unwavering love of my mama, who constantly prayed over me in my darkest times. My story began with you mama, and to experience this new beginning along side you was a privilege. @hookiesgirl 💕 by @nikafouchee
