All Hallow’s Queen (Part 2: The Remix) 👻

Starting off with a rainbow-bright bang 💥

Like my project 2 years ago I wanted to do a bunch of different edits with the same photo just to see how many different looks I could come up with. Some were as simple as changing the colors, and others have more complex editing going on. I have a few of these posts planned leading up to my bigger Halloween project later this month 🎃

This weekend I flew down to LA to see my favorite person, the Diamond Doll Diva of my world, and it was truly one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. Sharing it with my sister and this time my mom too was so special. Back to back shows, both followed by meet and greets because no way was I choosing between shows, and I’m so thankful I could attend both.

Miss Woman was at her Dollina Ballerina best all night, sharing hilarious and heart touching stories, and dancing her gorgeous ass off. Her show hits every mark and even in a smaller timeframe she shows you so many facets of what makes her the Queen of the World, signed and officiated by RuPaul herself.

Then she steps off stage into the meet and greet and she’s my sweetest, most beautiful friend. We talked about her incredible orange @ehrranmontoya dress and how it looked against those gorgeous green eyes. About her nails and how she finally found the perfect nude for her skin. Just magical to me. I could gush for hours about the outfits, the hair, the makeup my gosh, painted to utter perfection by @callher6. Alyssa Edwards is a thing of unmistakable beauty, from head to pointed toes.

I was her videographer, capturing secrets I’ll hold dear, and wait in excited anticipation to see come to fruition. I was her designated champagne and drink protector, a trust I feel so lucky to have earned. And at the second meet and greet I got to give her my gifts and chat with her for so long. I’ve dreamed of a moment like that and she made it come true. Talking about my art with the muse herself just filled my heart. And seeing her open and love the perfume that Kristen and I chose for her too. Our Showgirl at heart ✨

To end the most perfect night I got to meet Justin for the first time, the man behind the magic, and his partner Steve. It just meant so much to me. Thank you @alyssaedwards_1, for everything you are, and for sharing so much of your fairy dust with me and my family. I love you 💜💜✨ by @nikaylarose

Cuntissimo 💫

The first shot is one of my absolute favorites. The star spotlight and the rest of her in shadow is so striking to me. I love these Anastasia photos so much and used quite a few for this project as they fit the showgirl vibe so beautifully 🌟

The second shot is my attempt at putting a galaxy in her eyes. I’m quite in love with the result 🩶

Showgirl at Heart 💃🏼

The first shot is from my show in SF, how could I not? She really is a showgirl at heart, through and through. Such an incredible performer from the tips of her fingers to the tips of her toes, it’s all a lesson in gorgeous movement. Watching Alyssa dance is something beyond magical, I feel so lucky to have seen it with my own eyes ❤️

This song is what really brought my idea to a full showgirl spectacular 💎

24 Karat Gold 🌟

This might be my favorite set in this project, and it was one of the last I completed. Turning her outfits gold took several different layers of editing but I just love the outcome. They look almost liquid which is what I was going for; pure decadence. Only the best for my favorite glamour doll 💛

The second image is truly one of my favorites I’ve created in a while. I saved these wings on a whim just in case I could use them and when I was rethinking the second image for this set it just seemed like fate.

Girl of Your Dreams 🪽

Have you ever seen a sparklier, more feather-clad beauty before? I certainly haven’t. The first shot is actually a behind the scenes from her Shaun Vadella shoot from last year, but it just stole my heart. Paired with one of my all-time favorite Anastasia photos I think it’s a lovely complement.
