Four seconds. That's how long some self-tapes get before a decision is made, according to an Atlanta casting director speaking to Deadline.

Everything you rehearsed for three days happens after that.

Most actors spend three days on the scene and three seconds on the start of the tape.

Casting directors do it the other way round.

Before your first line lands, they've already decided whether to keep watching. Not on talent. On whether you've actually arrived.

The settling breath. The housekeeping slate. The glance at the sides. They're habits, not flaws. And habits can be broken.

The 5 Second Gap: five short videos, under an hour, built to use on your very next tape. €27, with a 14-day money-back guarantee.

You know you don’t have a talent problem. But you just might have an approach problem.

The room has gone. What worked there doesn’t work on a lens.

And nobody told you what does. Until now.

Nerves and presence aren’t opposites. Some of the most watchable performances have anxiety running underneath them. The question isn’t whether you’re nervous. It’s whether you’re present.
