We’re incredibly thankful for all the support The Dirty Locker has received! It’s amazing to reflect on how our FaceTime thrifting calls in 2016 through 2020 have evolved into our business. As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited about the growth and new opportunities on the horizon!
We contacted @cryptvvitch a few weeks ago with an idea that we’ve always had in the back of our minds. We sent over a vision board and idea of what we had in mind, and she went above and beyond our expectations. Bringing a Dirty Locker vision to life completely.
We look forward to the future with confidence, anticipating new opportunities for growth and success as we continue to bring our visions to life. Thank you for being a part of this adventure with us and for your continued support of the shop!

The Iron Island Museum is in a building located in Lovejoy in Buffalo New York. Iron Island was a former church, built in 1883. The church closed in the late 1940s and it sat empty until 1956, when it was purchased and turned into a funeral home. The name “Iron Island” comes from the deep history of the railroad system in Buffalo and how railroad tracks circled the entire perimeter of the neighborhood of Lovejoy. Legend has it that an assistant pastor at St. Agnes Church on Ludington Street gave the area the unique designation after hearing a train whistle circling the area constantly.
It is said the building is haunted and locals of the neighborhood are very aware of that and the buildings deep rooted history surrounding it. I’ve heard many stories about it from my family including my great grandmother who lived across the street from it for many decades.
